This is a side view of the Traverse City State Hospital located in North West Lower Michigan. These restored buildings are now called the Grand Traverse Commons.Built in 1885 this main building contains restaurants, shops, and offices. The asylum was closed in 1989.

Hello, I'm a Michigan based photographer, originally from Arizona. I have lived in Michigan for the last 23 years. Most of my images will be from the Midwest area, but from time to time will include images from Ontario, the Southwest, and wherever else I may roam on occasion.
