This is wonderful, Seve! Very familiar with this bridge, my son attended Michigan Tech. This is a great image. That bridge always looked rather futuristic and almost menacing to me.

Houghton Hancock Bridge, also known as the Portage Lake Lift Bridge was completed in 1959. It connects the cities of Houghton and Hancock in the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan. This bridge is the worlds heaviest and widest double decker lift bridge.
