This photograph of an icy McGulpin Point Rock, features Michigan's Mackinac Bridge in the background. The rock was discovered by French explorers 5 years earlier than Plymouth Rock. This rock is just over 5 times the size of Plymouth, 54 tons vs 10. The explorers used the rock to determine water levels and as a navigation aid.
